Avoid routinely stocking your pantry with sugary or starchy snacks. Buy fun foods just for special occassions.

Limit the number of snack times, and choose nutritious snacks.

Aim for balanced meals, and save foods with sugar and starch for meal times.

Never put your little one to bed with a bottle of milk, formula or juice (this includes nursing).

Fill sippy cups exclusively with water, and only serve juice at meal time. Remember what Dr. Cheatham always says: “Sip all day, get decay”.
